Here it states the description and capabilities of the lathe including the branding from the British market. The Toyo ML-210 2" x 8" made by the Sakai Company of Japan, and at one time marketed in the British Isles as the "Record" lathe.

The spindle had 6 speeds from 280 to 2500 rpm on a 1-phase, 50 Hz supply and a wide range of accessories was available including 6-speed miniature version of the self-powered milling/drilling head supplied for the 360, a separate (miniature) powered drilling and milling head, rotary and indexing units, steadies, milling slides, an automatic longitudinal fine-feed attachment, changewheels for metric and English screwcutting, collet chucks for the main and milling spindles, a swivelling top slide and a 4-way toolpost, etc. This Toyo was designed to tackle smaller modelling jobs and quite unlike the earlier precision Toyo ML1 lathes that was aimed at the instrument, watch and clock-making market. Like its larger brother the ML-210 was a properly made lathe with excellent detailing - and a decent finish.

This specific setup comes with many sort after additions to complete an extensive selection of equipment for the hobby craftsman.
