Machining Operation Before starting, confirm the sufficient clearance between the tool and the workpiece. Slowly adjust the speed to the set value, use the handwheel to slowly feed the tool and begin cutting. After machining, retract the tool before turning off power. Shutdown Procedure Retract the tool away from the workpiece to the safe position. Turn off motor power, and wait for the spindle to completely stop rotating.
